  • The Detroit Pistons are the best Team in the NBA

    Hands down.
Not even Boston will be able to beat them in a 7 game series come playoff time. And unless one of the Better Western Teams make a trade to better themselves, they can forget about it also

Only the Pistons, Spurs, and Celtics are good teams in the NBA....these are the only three teams that actually play any defense whatsoever in this "hope ya miss that shot" league....

I think Boston is riding a high right now, not that they are not a great team because they are, but once they come down from it I see them playing 500 ball for a few weeks. Sure they will still run away with the division but I dont see anyone beating Detroit. They have weapons at EVERY position and they have depth. Boston has the big three and serviceable alternate players. So, IMO, my opinion is same as your opinion.

Calm down folks.....Pistons are on fire right now but lest we forget how tired they have looked the last 2 seasons in the playoffs? This is the reason that Dumars added all these youngsters and so far it is paying major dividends but the last 2 seasons have ended on a sour note so lets not crown anyone just yet

        PEACE

There is such a lack of overall team defense in the NBA in general and only teams that actually play it can win consistently in this league IMO....or in any pro sports league for that matter.....

Celts are very good but won't have an answer for Billups.

solid points. however, if the playoffs started today, the celtics wouldn't win more than 2 games in a best of 7 vs. detroit.

This is the regular season folks....lets not read to much into it please. Pistons won almost 65 games 2 years ago and got bounced in the East Finals and last year Dallas did the same losing to GS in the opening round. Lets not forget also last year how worn down the Pistons were when they lost to Lebron James all by himself. I love the starting 5 that we have but in this league that just isnt enough.

That is why I enjoy what Joe Dumars has done by getting younger on the perimeter with Afflalo and Stuckey as these guys are fast and can gaurd the perimiter and pressure the ball and that will help Chauncey and Rip stay fresh. Also Joe Dumars has added some help up front with Maxiell who has developed very nicely into a pretty formidable force on the inside and they added some scoring punch with Jarvis Hayes......the Pistons have gotten back to what they were missing since 04 when they won it all and thats a very strong bench and that is where I think Boston will pay the price in the long run because the big 3 will wear down when it counts.

                      PEACE

Hey Mate, I picked the champion the last 6 years real early by just watching, and unless Dallas or someone else trades, they have 0 chance at beating this team in a 7 game series.
Barring any injuries, they take it all.
Get rid of that Lions avatar and changed it to the Pistons.

And you'll lose all your money doing it.
