Bet the team with the worst season record for 3 Units if a dog.
If that team is a favorite, play them on the money line for a risk of 5 Units.

It does not mean that. Seem like it says to be on the safe side is to bet VT ML. If you look at Cal play, it actually cover against AF. So, if you bet AF , you would lose.
