New Year so let's hope for the same success as in 2007. Finished on a pretty even keel after a very hot start and success in the bases. Kept it up most of the football seasons which was nice. Let's keep it going all the way through the New Year!

Oklahoma -6.5 -130 I got this when the lines first came out at -110. Since this is no longer available and my guy has -7 -115, I will buy the half point.
I absolutely love Oklahoma here. In my mind, they should have been playing for the National Title had they not slipped up. They have not been truly beaten all year long and when tested versus a very good Missouri team in the Big 12 title game, they owned them from start to finish.
Oklahoma had two mental lapses this year losing by 3 on the road both times, once to bowl bound Colorado and then to bowl bound Texas Tech. In my mind, even with the three suspensions for this game on defense, they are the better team by far.
I just do not see Pat White being able to do it all himself all game against a team of this caliber. Slaton did not seem to come up big when his team needed him to. He still ran for 1000 yards and 17 tds, but when I saw him on tv in games his team needed him badly, he came up short.
While WV gains 290 rushing yards per game, Oklahoma gives up 92. WV has played a better schedule as far as playing ranked teams at points this year. WV played 7 teams who went to a bowl game this year going 5-2. Unfortunately, none of those teams are in an elite bowl game for a reason; they were all weak teams.
I expect pretty much the same type of game as USC yesterday. While Oklahoma might not dominate as much as USC did in the first half, I expect them to pull away with a 2 TD win. 34-20 Oklahoma
