Oklahoma Defensive Tackle DeMarcus Granger Suspended

2nd team all Big 12 DeMarcus Granger has been sent home after getting caught attempting to steal a jacket from a Phoenix area ma ll. Big blow to OU's defensive line. That brings the total to 3 OU defensive starters that will not play in the Fiesta Bowl, joining defensive backs Reggie Smith, who is out with a toe injury, and Lendy Holmes, who was declared academically ineligible.

Does anyone remember a long time ago i think it was Oklahoma had alot of players suspended, maybe the Orange Bowl. Well it made the line go crazy and Oklahoma comes out and wins the game outright. Anyone remember that? and do i have the correct team? Well anyway i hope this brings the line down because i think Oklahoma blows this team out. Just an opinion.

Dk if I remember right it was the Orange Bowl against
Arkansas, during the Switser years. Arkansas suspended
several players and won SU as big underdogs! Maybe one
of the other older members here remembers...

Going by Memory, It was Ark and Ok, and Lou Holtz was coaching Ark......he suspended a ton of "STARTERS", and still pulled off the UPSET......One of the Greatest messages ever sent to players, and one of the best COACHING jobs I ever saw.........
