Chado's Picks for Monday!!! Afternoon POW Inside!!!
Went 0-2 last night in the NHL for -2.25 units as the Blackhawks really screwed the +159 parlay with the Canucks that won their game. Anyway, my play of the week goes for this afternoon. I won my last POW and pushed the previous one. I love this selection on the ice:

This is the 2nd game of a home and home in which the Bruins lost in Atlanta on Sautrday night 5-0 which also went under the posted total. I like betting the under on the 2nd game of the home and home as it is typically a more close checked and defensive type game as both teams have felt each other out from the previous one. Goaltender Keri Lehtonen gets the start again this afternoon after he shutout the Bruins on Saturday night. Lehtonen is 5-0-0 with a 1.77 GAA in his last five starts against the Bruins. Tim Thomas is getting the start today for the Bruins after Alex Auld started the last game and gave up 3 goals on his first 13 shots vs the Thrashers. Although Thomas' career #'s vs Atlanta arent primarily impressive he still has a 2.33 GAA and a .929 save percentage on the season which is solid. The Bruins are still without center Patrice Bergeron and right wing Glen Murray - two of their best offensive players. Those absences have contributed to an offense that has scored only six goals in the last four games. In 36 games played this season the Bruins have went under the posted total in 23 of them. Also, the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. I expect a low scoring 2-1, 3-1 type game this afternoon in Boston.
