I'm 0-2 on bowl plays so far but my best ones are still in front of me.
Monday
1* Fresno State +6
Fresno has experience playing on the weird blue field in Boise as Boise State is a conference rival. Fresno's happy just to be in a bowl while Georgia Tech would have preferred going anywhere but Idaho on New Year's Eve. The Tech coaching staff is in disarray with the coaching change and several players are considering transferring because incoming coach Johnson wants to switch to the option. In short, what a mess. Fresno ended the season strongly, almost beating Hawaii in Hawaii and blasting K-State. Georgia Tech has beaten only one team with a winning record all year (Clemson).
New Year's Day:
2* Georgia -7 (-120)
This will not be a repeat of last year when an unbeaten WAC team (Boise) wins a BCS bowl. Georgia is way too strong for Hawaii and will muscle them all over the field. Hawaii dodged a zillion bullets to go unbeaten. Georgia, in the meantime, beat at least six teams this year that would have beaten Hawaii. Georgia has a great run game and Hawaii won't be able to stop it.
1* Wisconsin +2
If you just blindly bet the Badgers in bowl games, you'd be way ahead. Alvarez and successor Bielema are brilliant game plan coaches when given weeks to prepare. Wisconsin has three major running backs behind an underrated offensive line. PJ Hill's injury status is irrelevant as backup Zak Brown is better and Phil Fulmer is the most underappreciated coach in America but his great coordinator Cutcliffe has quit to coach Duke and Tennessee team wanted to be in a BCS bowl and will not be as focused as a Badgers team that has again over-achieved.
Opinion only:
USC (the best team in America right now)

2* Ohio State +5
Play this now as the line will drop even more after Wisconsin beats Tennessee.
