great year and no doubt they are the best team this year in the NFL but the key here is this year.....I am so sick of ESPN saying this is the best team ever. Who knows for sure but whose to say that all the other teams in the league arent down plus you all have to admit that they have the easiest division in football.....Miami, Buffalo, NYJ.......thats 6 easy wins.....saying they are the best ever is like saying that Randy Moss is better than Jerry Rice because he beat his td record....or Brady is better than Montana, Bradshaw, Staubach, or hell Manning for that matter. I think all the credit needs to go to the offensive line because he is like any other QB when he is pressured he makes mistakes but his O-line in my opinion needs to recieve the MVP's for this team because he always has time to throw and is very seldom pressured.....again great team and great season but I always hate to hear analysts compare players or teams from other generations.....like Jordan to Kobe in basketball......congrats Pats backers!!!!!!

I still say the Pats lose one...they have a very tough road ahead of them. They probably will have to play the Jaguars and the Colts. The Colt-Pat re-match will be a good one. I think the biggest off-season acquisition this year was Wes Welker. The guy is always fucking open.

not a dolphin fan and could care less that they have this record I just think its ludicrous to annoint NE as the greatest team ever because they went undefeated this year. The NFL today is all about parity and NE did the best job of getting talent and luck because Moss was a gift from the Raiders. They are a great team but not the best ever in my opinion and Im not a hater or a fan just an observer who thinks the Pats are the best team this year and not ever.......congrats again

One thing i've heard from many former players and so called experts on t.v. is that they never thought a 16-0 season could be done in the Salary Cap and Free Agent era we are in. Simply because of the pairity. That's what makes it so hard and even more impressive.

Best ever can't even be debated until they win 3 more games. If that happens and they go 19-0, you have to put them in the best ever discussion and near or at the top (IMO). It would no doubt be the best season ever and the margin of victory record, along with all the others they set should confirm that. When talking best ever, you have to include Brady and N.E. both in there in their respected category because 4 Superbowl's in 7 years to go with the 1st 19-0 season ever can't be ignored. It is alot of if's but i think 16-0 is something years from now we will think is even more amazing. I'm glad the Giants played the starters from start to finish. They made N.E. earn it right up until the last 2 minutes of the season. There were no free passes given there.

If they win the Super Bowl then they have to be considered one of the greatest teams ever.
