Had a nice night last night with Central Mich---feel lucky in a way as they were getting their doors blown off but on the other hand missed a ML parlay with over---that could of made it a sweeter night.
Had some time to look at some numbers heres for this Bowl game. I am basing my pick on ASU QB Carpenter. I really feel if he did not play hurt the last half of the season ASU would not be playing in this bowl tonight. I believe he is healed and Dennis Erickson will go after Texas's weakness--the Defensive secondary. ASU will need to play strong up front to make this happen--have some other reasons on why I like these plays but I don't want to bore everyone!!

OVER 62 The Holiday bowl one of those bowls that typically go OVER the number. I really like this play--it makes sense with my stated reason above-I also believe we will see a few cheap TD's tonight as well. Special teams---Pick 6 type deals...

708 N. Carolina -21 vs. against a No Nick Fazekas team--Nevada
715 Rider +2.5
710 Seton Hall -2.5 Degand out for the year for NC State--big loss for them??---not sure but Seton Hall perfect at home.
711 New Mexico -5.5 This one is odd. New Mex beats Hawaii in November 89-60. At the half 38-31 and then blow them away 51-29 in the second half. Why is the line 5.5??? Total is 134.5...14.5 points less than the first games total which was played 37 days ago. I will play this one lightly but can not bring myself to take the RAINBOWS---I feel like I am biting a big line here!
