WHO HAS A BETTER FOOTBALL PROGRAM WASH. ST. OR TEXAS TECH? I THINK WASH. ST DOES. THE REASON I ASK IS WASH. ST PLAYS NEW MEXICO THIS SAT. AND TECH PLAYED THEM 2 WKS AGO. THE LINE IN THE TECH GAME WAS 13.5. THE LINE IN WSU GAME IS 15.5. TECH HAD THE GAME WON AND IN THE 4TH QUARTER UNM SCORED 21 PTS. TO EVEN MAKE A GAME OUT OF IT. WSU GOES INTO COLORADO (WHO IS BETTER THAN UNM) AND BASICALLY BLOWS THEM AWAY. WHY IS THE LINE SO LOW IN THIS GAME? I'M SERIOUSLY LEANING TOWARDS WSU IN THIS GAME. I REALLY THINK WSU WILL WIN BY MINIMUM OF 24 PTS. AT HOME. WHAT DO YOU GUYS/WOMEN THINK?

It could be that Wazoo has its Pac 10 opener at Oregon next week. Have to believe that they can blow out NM if they wanted to, but will probably play it safe and take the win and avoid unnecessary injuries. But then again, Wazoo 12-2 ATS in second home game of the year.

...situations go into the line. This line isn't that far off considering the look ahead factor (as maxell just stated) and the ratings of the teams going into the season (if you believe in that power rating bullshit). You are using common sense in trying to figure out how to bet this game, and that is smart. Unfortunately, common sense seldom goes into what actually happens. Good luck.

In responding to this question I find myself asking many questions about it . Little doubt can be placed on the quality of Wash. St `s program or strength of schedule , they exposed Colo. for the fraud that they are last week and play half thier games [6 of 12] against top 25 competition . Intereseting to me is the line fluxuation of this match-up , it opened at 15.5 / 15 / 16.5 / 17 / 16.5 / 15.5 / 15 since then and that indicates a line jumping Joe P that cant make his mind up or some very large dinero placed at where they were waiting for . It is thier first game at the house and they are somewhat seasoned by now and even if they are in that look-ahead mode thier emotion has to high for this one.

On the other hand N. Mexico is not a total slouch , a 35.6 scoring avg. is inflated by the 72 to 8 shalacing of Texas St. , but then it was brought back into balance by thier 10 to 7 loss to B.Y.U. @ home . But the thing that bears mind here is that they get most of the second tier athletes from first tier states [TX. /CA.]

That being noted a 15 point spot is a pretty good for having equal QB`s [both seniors] decent RB`s [ 5.4 yds / per ] and 12 WR`s with 48 snares at a 15.1 yds/per [mostly upperclassmen]

Heres the catch tho , N Mexico has a date with N Mexico St. @ home next ...... so who`s looking ahead here ???

DIDNT PLAY IT. LIKED 2 OTHER PLAYS MORE... TEXAS TECH-N.C STATE OVER AND TEXAS -30. DID LOSE ON ALABAMA. WONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE BETTING AGAINST MAC TEAMS AGAIN. THEY ARE FOR REAL!
