I've gone 0-2 the last two weeks in the NFL, both on 1* plays as I just didn't find much I liked. This weekend is different as I see the potential for several blowouts.
2* Cowboys -10 (-115)
I love Dallas here returning home after winning despite a major letdown last week in Detroit, a game they won anyway. While Mr. Jessica Simpson is due for a bad game, the Eagles seem headed on a long road to nowhere. The Cowboys are the class of the NFC and can virtually wrap up homefield advantage with a win here.
1* Browns -5 1/2
This is the biggest game of the weekend as the Browns likely nail down a playoff spot as the Bills are the team chasing them. Cleveland is 5-1 at home and Derek Anderson and his receivers have been close to unstoppable in home games. My short summary is this: I think Cleveland is the better team and they're at home in a game both teams have to win.
1* Patriots -23 1/2
A lot of sharpies will be scared off by the big number but they're over-thinking things. Belichick would like to destroy Mangini's career after being ratted out on Spygate. New England is back on stride after blowing out the Steelers. Pats by 34.
Opinions only:
Chargers (Lions hearts were cut out by Cowboys)
Rams (Pack due for letdown)
Dolphins (their best chance for a win)
Monday:
3* Vikings -10
