    Thoughts on Navy/Utah???

    I keep going over this game and for the life of me cant figure out what makes Utah an 8.5 pt favorite. I want to bet Navy because I do think there is a possability for a Navy win. I know Navy can run the ball and Utah and throw the ball but what am I missing?? They have a common opponent in Air Force in which both teams played Air Force at home but Navy won the game while Utah lost. Just want to hear your thoughts on it Thanks to all that reply

    I also like Navy straight up in this game, I took them in my bowl pot I have at work.
    I hope one day they talk about me, and say I knew him when he was just a kid.

      Navy's qb didn't play the last two games of the season and is ? for the bowl game. Utah played the first several games of the year (including AF) w/o qb Johnson. They have played great since his return and should have beat BYU on the road except for a last second defensive breakdown. I'm undecided on this game myself. Navy's D is pourous to say the least and could get shredded here. They can't fall behind early or it's over.

          AF played Navy when they (AF) weren't playing well. Also, AF played Utah when they weren't playing well, and is a totally different team now. I think Utah can somewhat stimey (sp) Navy's offense, and Navy's D is one of the worst in D1 so I would take Utah.

              Navy has a horrible defense. Utah has a pretty good defense. I don't understand why this game isn't double digits.

                UTAH is gona spank them. Navy doesn't have any defense what so ever.
