The Phoenix Coyotes have traded goaltender Alex Auld to the Boston Bruins in exchange for forward Nate DiCasmirro and a fifth round draft choice in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Auld registered a 3-6-0 record with a 3.54 goals against average, .880 save percentage and one shutout in nine games with the Coyotes this season.
He also collected a 1-1-0 record with a 2.53 GAA, .906 SV% and one shutout in two games this season with Phoenix's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Auld has a career 49-50-2-11 record with a 2.94 GAA, .901 SV% and three shutouts in 117 NHL games with Vancouver, Florida and Phoenix.
He signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on Aug. 13.
