I like today's card a lot.

AS Roma -125 over Manchester United ---- This would be a GOY if AS Roma had something more to play for then just revenge. Both teams have already qualified for the knock out stage of the Champions league, but with Liverpool looming for Man Utd this weekend, there will be only a couple starters on the pitch for Man Utd, and most of them won't even make the trip. Last year Man Utd took Roma to the woodshed beating them 7-1. Roma still has that in their mind.

parlay: Sevilla/Arsenal/Barcelona (+215) ---- some may ask...and maybe rightfully so, if Roma is so high on the list, why substitue Sevilla in the parlay. Well the answer is that Sevilla HAS to win this game in order to advance. Roma doesn't. Both teams moneyline are at -125 and I'm protecting myself a bit in case Roma draws. Sevilla can't afford a draw. Arsenal and Barcelona will not lose today, so our moneymaker in this parlay is Sevilla.

English Carling Cup
Everton/West Ham DRAW (+220) ---I see this game going into added extra time, and that's fine because we're countng on a draw at the end of regulation time.

Italia Coppa
Caglirai +140 over Sampordia ---- Sampordia resting 85% of their starers today due a big game this weekend for them in the Series A. We'll take the nice price for the home team to pull out the win.

Roma.....two teams with nothing to play for you would think a draw. However Roma has revenge on thier minds and also a much much stronger lineup. Half the normal man utd starters didn't even make the trip.

So then wouldnt it make more sense to take Sevilla on their own if you feel more confident that Roma may draw over them? This is why I am asking cause I was confused.....it just seemed to make more sense to do it thay way...no?

You see what I am saying though right?

Like lets say Roma draws....we lose the big straight bet....then Sevilla rolls....and one of the other two on the parlay loses.....thats what I was trying to get at.....

I dont have a 110% definitive reason for why I like it the way I do...I just do.

All my plays are for one unit and one unit only. But for all the other guys that like to put more on the games that I'm more confident of I put the levels of confidence for.

If you don't feel comfortable....please bro..don't follow. I won't lose sleep over it. And I know you got other guys you get some soccer plays from so I'm sure you have your options!

That must have been an extremely embarassing loss last year for Roma and I can definately see them holding a grudge. If most of the starters are not playing for Man U, then this is a great spot to get some revenge. Although I can not see a 7-1 score for Roma, I can see them winning this 1-0 2-0 type of fashion. It will be a competitive game, but with most of the regulars out for Man U I like your thinking here. The line obviously reflects the fact that starters are out and did not make the trip.
