  • Crappy Monday Night NFL - N.O at Atl.

A few trends maybe leaning toward an under play. First game in N.O went under. Atlanta just sucks and cant score, Redman (a Raven reject) likely to start for Atlanta. They will be lucky to put up 14 pts. New Orleans held them to 16 at home earlier and only scored 22 themselves. These teams know each other well so I may lean to the under.

    Other trends:

New Orleans: NO are 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
NO are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall.
Over is 8-3 in NO last 11 vs. NFC.

Atlanta: Under is 8-2 in ATL last 10 vs. NFC South.
ATL are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games.
Under is 14-5-1 in ATL last 20 vs. NFC.

Head to Head: Under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings.

    Total around 43 -

Redman looked decent last week so maybe he can spark the falcons to a win.Probably have to take the Falcons tonight and find out on ESPN in the morning if it's a winner.

The only way to watch this one is to have some cash on it!

One thing about back up QB's. They come in first week, look good, city gets excited about them. Next team they face has prepared and figures them out and they suck the next week.

Example: Boller looks great against NE, then the Colts eat him up. AJ Feeley has a good game against NE as well, the following week is horrible. Just a trend I notice, this is why these guys are back ups, they cannot be starters in the league and be consistent week to week.

I will say that the problem with the Falcons is that they now have three backup QB's on their roster, HArrington, Redman and Leftwich.

That's what I'm confused about. I thought the 'flex' schedule allowed them to swap the Monday night games as well as the Sunday night games. This will clearly not be doing ESPN any favors in the ratings department.
