Homer-I still think it would be appropriate and profitable if Tiger management puts an ad on station that carries their games and perhaps in paper which states that "if you are in attendance for game in which Tigers break the record, on the way out(assuming you stay til end), you will be given a pennant or maybe bumpersticker which says "2003 Detroit Tigers-World Champion Baseball Losers of All Time." Do you think that would sell some tickets?
Maybe each one of Tigers including Trammel should autograph each one giving it a stamp of authencity;perhaps that baby will be worth something some day as a collector's item assuming of course they don't break their own record for futility next year.
