All I know is Notre Dame has a longer winning streak then the two teams that are playing for the BCS Title game.

That in itself should get us in over Hawaii.

Bowl Games are a good test of coaching ability because you have som uch time to prepare. That's why guys like Barry Alvarez and Joe Paterno had such good records in bowls.

I'd look for coaching mismatches:
Paul Johonson (Navy) over anybody
Jim Tressel (Ohio St) over les Miles (LSU)
Dennis Erickson (Az State) over Mack Brown (Texas)

I like Tech and S. Florida, BW. I also have a homer play on the Sooners -6.5. I think they'll be able to shut down White and Slaton. They have from time to time had some trouble with good passing teams, but I think they can control the line of scrimmage in this one. Good luck to you.
