Why didn't you post this last week after the Tigers lossed to McFadden, at home no less.... Is it becuase you thought Miles was an idiot and your little title hopes were finally dashed.... You guys down there are obsessed with this Saban guy...And I don't blame you....Do You remember how LSU never meant anything in college football for YOUR ENTIRE LIFE before Saban?..1968-1999 ... I'm not sure you remember ....You think the Dolphins (0-12) are glad he's gone? You really think Huizenga payed him over 5 million a year and begged him not to leave because he had people like you around telling him how overrated coach Saban was..NO.....Wayne Huizenga had people around him that ACTUALLY HAD A CLUE, telling him not to let Saban get away..

He did put LSU on the map, and if LSU backs into a horseshit national title, it will be because of the difference in talent, and Saban will be the one to thank for recruiting them....not Pellini and Miles, both of those guys are laughable man...

I couldn't care less what Saban does....but, after your post, I felt like I needed to remind you of your life with Curly Hallman, DiNardo and all the rest of the failures that came before Joe Dean hired Saban...... I know intellectual honesty means nothing down there, Bob Livingston (I'm sure you voted for him), but it does to me...So I really couldn't let this post go without a reply...You are trying to convince yourself of these absurdities....

Enjoy your last POST KATRINA CHARITY from ESPN and vegas......Really sucks for the city of New Orleans... They don't get two teams from out of town to come in and actually spend a bunch of money.... They get the hometown team, coonbreds, which are just going to come in for the game and then go back Houma and have a keg party... They don't spend any money...
And if you guys really do lose to the Buckeyes, which I don't think will happen, watch out, because LSU is liable to slip back into that familiar cajun sewer hole of insignificance for another half century...
    Sleep tight.

    p.s. Alabama beat Arkansas..

WOW----you just said a bunch of nothing.....you got a hard on for LSU.....and where do you get the Idea that Saban put LSU on the map....

Can you say Paul Dietzel and his National Championship....

Can you say Charlie McClendon---one of the winningest coaches in CFB.....

Can you just plain as day---say LSU tradition for always fielding a good team, and having one of CFB's overall winningest percentages.....

Saban is being picked on for saying "I'll never leave LSU", and then immediately did....

with the Talent they have in Louisiana, they can be competitive without a coach....

and your sarcastic ass remark----re---intellectual honesty in Louisiana---is absurd.....

GROW UP---and when you make statements, make it fctual....

you're flying off the handle on a "humorously intended post"....get your immature feelings off your sleeve.....

Those were some pretty nasty darts thrown towards LSU and Louisiana......not called for

Longnex, I was slightly over the top, I realize this......You are a horse guy and I really like that about you...apologies...

Kaptain, who asked you anything? You're speaking of 1959... A HALF CENTURY AGO!!!.. If Saban went to Army and won a national title, you would then tell me they have plenty of tradition before he got there and been one of the winningest programs? You would also be right..200 years ago ... No one cares about being the 5th best program in the SEC, % wise, for any amount of time.... No one cares about how many consecutive Blue-Bonnet bowls you played in.... National titles and conference titles are it.... And, in the modern era, for LSU, it was 2003.....

You are mature, you're 1000 years old......lay off.

I completely believe that and I'm sure the reason he didn't send it to you until yesterday was because of the before-mentioned reason.....anyway, I'm done.....good luck at the Fairgrounds...

Take a deep breath, and let "both" cell of your brain activate before you continue making ignorant statements....

You clearly stated----Saban put LSU on the Map".....well Saban didn't...

you clearly put out some nasty comments towards Louisisana as a whole....I'm from Louisiana, and din't appreciate it....

                    and you're right----I'm mature, and it's apparent you're not....

and as far as me backing off, because you weren't talking to me, well, this is a FORUM Einstein, and I will continue to do so, and it'll be a cold day in hell, before a disrespectful punk like you can make me act differently....

GROW UP----quit your crying cause your team isn't in the finals.....

and by the way GENIUS----200 years ago, even as new as 1959, is considered HISTORY....or did the world and record keeping not start till 2003....

get a grip on reality, and grow up, and don't mess with me, as I don't care to argue with im mature children..PS---why did you apologize to LongNex for being slightly over the top----your words---AND STILL SHOOT SHIT DARTS AT ME.....

What a pea brain you are....you might consider changing your attitude, your ways, your harsh criticism, if you want to continue being part of a classy FORUM, that can "pick and choose" their members....Just from advice from a 1000 year old man----another ignorant statement

Again 1959......African-Americans couldn't even play back then.......So, NO, I don't count that as meaningful football history, and Saban sure as hell didn't use that as a recruiting tool when he got all that talent to come to LSU....GENIUS. Keep namecalling.... Teasing is what you do best.

Pea brain... that's a good one... Look at the record after 1970, about the time african-americans were allowed to play....

Celtic---what are you trying to say now....that they weren't good until Afro Americans were allowed to play.....and for the record.....

1973 — Lora O. Hinton, Jr. becomes LSU’s first African American varsity letterman in football. He is also the first African American to attend LSU on a football scholarship. Albert J. Doucette, Jr. becomes the first African American to graduate from the LSU School of Renewable Natural Resources (Masters in Fisheries).

there were also tons of other schools that had no Afro Americans also, and LSU being from the South, naturally was one of the later schools allowing Afro Americans....

Besides all that, what is your point.....

I think (know) you just took anothe cheap shot at the State of Louisiana.......you have some mental issues my man.....

Still don't understand what you're trying to say, other than a totaly bias, and now appears racist view on LSU and the State of Louisiana.....

You're wrong, again, and you're entitled to your 2 cell view on life.....you need help.....stay away from me, cause I don't like, or tolerate, people like you with a distorted view on people, and your sassy ass darts....we got rid of people doing that kind of thing, and I personally, after viewing your posts, don't see here you contribute any thing to this Forum.....

Keep your warped attitude, and mostly, keep it to yourself.....

You are an argumentative person, and those types, are usually insecure about themselves.........It's obvious you have some issues, and love controversy....

well, I don't, so stay away from me, and I'll not LOWER myself any further, to answer (talk) to you.....

Celtic----you being 61 years old, and make a reference about me being 1000 years old, is also a mark of your talking in circles......I'm just 4 years older than you. But; you should be old enough to remember the good FB teams in the SEC, including LSU, wy before Saviou Saban, as you refer to him, came along....

you just plain ass don't make sense.......worthless contributor to the FORUM IMO...

Don't want to step on any toes around here because I am kind of new. But I could not help to comment, you are getting on Celtics for name calling, and then you proceed to go into a rant yourself. Lets just be fair here, and stop this stuff. I think what Celtics meant when he said "before Afro-Americans were allowed to play" is that the game obviously changed for the better, and more talent was integrated in. I don't see that being overtly racist, so try not to take it out of context.
