I don't play many college games and this is my first of the year but it is a special situation. Marquette's coach fought against playing this crosstown game for years when Wis-Milw was a much stronger team (under Bruce Pearl) and finally relented under pretty ugly circumstances. Wis-Milw is now awful and is coming off a loss at home to Sam Houston State! Marquette is a veteran team whose only loss was a narrow defeat to Duke in the Maui championship. Marquette hasn't played in nine days and doesn't have another game for eight more so its focus is solely on this one. Press reports call for a sellout of 18,000 and I think Marquette will try to make a statement by destroying the wannabe rival from its own city. If Marquette is up by 20, they'll try to win by 30. If they're up by 30, they'll try to win by 40.
