Sean Avery is having surgery today to repair injuries to his left wrist and will be out of the Rangers lineup for up to two weeks. Avery's absence isn't the only setback facing the Rangers today. Jaromir Jagr scored a goal in his last game but went without a point in the Rangers' previous five.
