Art Briles, who has brought the Cougar football program back to respectability with repeated bowl invitations, has accepted the open Head Coach position for the Baylor Bears.


I guess the lure of the Big 12 was too tempting. Sad day in Cougarville.

Not sure I agree with your wording, GrandPa. While losing their coach will be a blow to the program, I was never really impressed by the in-game coaching from Briles. If Houston AD Maggard puts in his due diligence, they should be just fine.
