Champions League soccer today and tomorrow. There are only two more games until the knockout stage, so some teams know they are advancing, some are trying to improve their position and some are playing for nothing. This is a tricky last two games....so i"m gonna tread a bit lightly.
1/2 unit plays
Manchester United -1 over Sporting (Man Utd can clinch the top spot with a win today, after being beat by Bolton on Sunday, I think Man Bags will at least come out and take care of business.)
Arsenal +225 over Sevilla (Pure value play. Arsenal is a better overall squad then Sevilla; younger, quicker, and healthier. You could play it safe and play Arsenal +0.5 so that a draw could still equal a win, but for a half unit, i'm gonna take my chances)
Full Unit plays
Stuttgart +115 over Rangers (Stuttgart needs this win a lot more then Rangers do. Rangers all they have to do is get basicly 1 point in 2 games to advance and their next CL game is at home. Add to the fact that the Scottish teams are not good on the road, I like the price with Stuttgart)
CSKA +115 over PSV (game time is 12:30 EST, the rest are at 2:45. Very close to my POD, but just missed. PSV is not a good road team either, and having to travel to Moscow for ANYONE is not fun. CSKA has a very good home field advantage.)
Arsenal/Sevilla over 2.5 (-110) *****POD (Two very wide open clubs. Sevilla has had some struggles on defense, and score at home. Arsenal's defense is pretty stout, but I don't see a clean sheet on the road for them.)
