Whewww- GG! Apparently you have not seen Georgia play recently! But it is a rivalry and who knows. Just think Georgia comes out of the tunnel into the tomorrows headlines as a winner."The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.

GG its after the fact now but I am curious what made you like GTech so much. Especially enough to make the comment that you did. I havent been on this forum too long so I dont know if it was kind of tongue and cheek, but I was just wondering what you saw in this game that made you so confident. You know Richt was 25-0 SU non conference regular season, right? And that Georgia had won 6 of the last 7 and I think 4 or 5 in a row in this series? And that Richt wins more games on the road than he does at home? And just the fact that Georgia, talent wise, is a much better team and better coached, plays in a stronger conference and has a better record? I am in no way trying to rub salt in the wound as I respect you and your picks very much, but I figure if I am going to study and use your selections, which I have and will continue to do, Id like to know some of the thinking behind them. I have picked up on the fact that you seem to like dogs, which statistically makes sense. But thats really the only read I have gotten other than the fact that you seem to be one of the more respected guys up here. And your posted certainly shows that you deserve that respect. Just looking for some insight is all. Good luck on the rest of your card."The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it." George Bernard Shaw

I don't need to speak for Greek, and I put the house on my Bulldogs, but really no need to come into his thread and question him. He has been wonderful this year, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out he is a contrarian. If a game looks too easy, like it did to take Georgia, he goes opposite. With the record he has, that philosophy works well. You will see in his comment about this pick he mentioned Vegas giving away free money. When a line is too obvious, and the public eat it up, it usually loses.
I agree with you on my Bulldogs, they are playing awesome, and if you read my post in the other thread, I truly feel they will be playing for a National Championship the next two years. They are young and loaded. They also have "the next Randy Moss" coming in next year in AJ Green. Two years from now he will be a sophomore, Stafford a senior, Moreno a junior, and their entire offensive line will be in the third or fourth year of being starters.Last edited by harold_bush; 11-24-2007, 10:26 PM.

Thats all fine what you said and I am glad you were on the UGA Harold, but I really wasnt questioning anything. I was wondering his motives or betting strategy as it may. If he doesnt want to tell me then thats fine and understandable. But I didnt insult him in any way or even disagree with his pick. I stated reasons why it confused me is all. In fact I think I even complimented him once or twice. So spare me your melodramatic ass kissing. Please. You think for your self and he will think for himself and I will think for myself. Probably works out better that way."The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it." George Bernard Shaw

Rivalries are a toss up in many arenas and this one did not pan out. Case close.
