Too late...you already responded by saying you weren't going to respond.

          A Few things:

          1) Each game is independent of the next. What happened in one game is totally irrelevant and immaterial related to another game.

          2) Vegas doesn't set lines on one game due to what happened in another game, particularly one not involving the same two teams.

          3) Vegas never loses. Sure, some games they do, as it is impossible to balance the money on every game, and occasionally the public gets it right, and there is no way to set the line to get a balanced set of action. How may would have laid NE -40 v Buffalo at -110? Not many, if any, yet they would have won, and the books would have killed.

          4) The line on Den/Tenn was similarly irrelevant, as Den -13.5 would have cashed, and the whole world would have been on Tennessee.

Bottom line: There is more than one way to read the tea leaves, or interpret the movements of the lines, but in reality it varies from one game to the next. Picking the right team has always been the secret to winning, and always will be.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
