Walls closing in on Barry Bonds. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

If convicted would MLB strip Bonds of his records like the Olympic committee stripped Marion Jones of her medals.

I don't know if you can take away his records. The whole game has been juiced the last 10 years.
              MLB (2014): (3-4) -.9 units

I blame baseball for not cleaning this up a long time ago. They have known all along.

They might not take away the records but will the fans recognize Bonds as the home run king. He's not convicted. In my eyes he's not the home run leader.

I just got off the phone with my buddy, Greg. He replied "no comment".

Hammerin Hank is still the King, to me. It would have been Griffey Jr w/o the injuries. It will eventually be A-Rod, barring injuries.

Can't help but wonder what would have happened to Bonds, McGwire, et al, if they just would have come clean when confronted. Wouldn't expect them to admit it, but the public eventually forgives and forgets.

After all, Marv Albert is back in broadcasting.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
