  • Thoughts on Haw/Nev NCAAF

Any1 here have some thoughts on the Hawaii/Nevada game. I see the line is -7 for Haw.

I only watched the last game up to Half time. I see there QB got hurt at some point in the game and they barely held on to win the game. Insights please

really don't trust hawaii to cover anything now. they have been pretty average, and IMO their lines are based more on their name than what they have done this season.

Thanks for the feedback. I will stay away from the game.

For me this smells fishy. Is Colt gonna play? Even if he does Id lean to Nevada.

If Colt plays, I'd lean to Nevada....If he doesn't, I'd lean to Hawaii. That's just my gut instinct...

HOMER ALERT!!! Here's my take on the situation.....

The latest in the local papers is that Colt's been cleared to play. He's itching to get in, but June Jones has got the final say and he seems genuinely concerned about the kid's future. Press said he has had long conversations with his agent, Leigh Steinberg (Steve Young and Troy Aikman were two of his former clients w/ concussion issues), about concussions and such..... who knows if he'll play. The feeling I'm getting from what I'm reading in the papers and reading into Jones' comments is that Colt will travel but will sit this one out to decrease the risk of further damage.

Either way, it's all gonna come down to whether or not Hawaii's D can stop the Nevada QB. That dude is tough to stop. If Colt sits, Graunke plays and he's been in the system for four years now as a redshirt junior. He's more than capable.... not as accurate as Colt, but a better runner and throws a better deep ball. Running game should also start to make more of an impact as it did last week against Fresno.

If I were going to put any money on this game, I'd take Nevada plus the points. Hawaii's only put it all together in one game this year and that was against NMSU. I don't see it happening against Nevada in Reno. I'll be rooting like hell for them to win, but I'm expecting a close game. My prediction.....

              Hawaii 38
              Nevada 34

I'm Betting on Nevada and hope I lose my bet!!

Big time homer play win/win for me!!

Hawaii has NEVER won or covered the spread at Nevada.

                I hope they win!!!

That’s right. Like boxing , everyone wants to be undefeated, this game doesn’t work like that!
