Being ignorant, I read up on things a little more and came up with these. For this year only

      Brady > Record year

      Farve > No running game - 16t / 8I - most yards

Romo > 23T / 11I, Remembering Bledsoe with this team, 3rd highest rating.

      Anderson > Carring team, 20t / 9I

      Roethlisberger > 22T - 7I, 2nd highest rating

And yes before yesterdays games Manning would of been on this list. The question was asked after the game though.

I think Manning is a top 3 QB of all time but not this year, at this time.

So my opinion isn't because of being ignorant as it is a fact based opinion. But still just a opinion

The question clearly states So far THIS YEAR and you would be ignorant to have anybody but Brady 1st. That is not a biased opinion, it is a fact. He has set and is on pace to set even a ton more records for a season at his position. The questioned was posed today and Manning did throw 6 picks last night. No, one game doesn't make a season but it is a big % of this question asked. He also fumbled twice in a crucial time at home against N.E. and Brady drove them on 2 drives to end the game and Win it ... On the road.

This year at the halfway point? Number one cannot even be debated. The questions are all between 2-5

33 TD'S & only 4 Int's to go along with a season rating of 131.8 eliminates anyone else for 1st. Let's not be ignorant here.

Indy's healthy running game this year has made Peyton's numbers not near as healthy as they usually are, but still I don't see how you can leave him out of the top 5.

And yes, you'd have to be in a coma all year long not to list Brady as the #1 so far

KB, as you said his running game has improved and so has the defense. He isn't being asked to have to carry the team. Much like Brady has done in past years. That, I'm sure is why he hasn't put up numbers needed to be on the list like others have had to do.

                  1. Brady

He has a good o-line...the recievers are above average and Santonio Holmes will be really good eventually...the tight end corps is one of the better ones in the league, and Willie Parker is well above average at RB.

I can't stand the Patriots, but if you look at the years they won the SB, Brady's cast IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE STEELERS. I can't even think of one receiver off of those Patriot teams.

Stop drinking the homerade and get real.

If you're going off of this year, my top 5 would be:

                      Brady
                      Romo
                      Big Ben
                      Derek Anderson
                      Favre

                        Homerade

Manning would get destroyed behind the Steelers O-line. I still list Brady and Manning as better QB's, but for what Ben has to do behind a weak offensive line is incredible, he is constantly running for his life. Hines Ward is a great football player but not an elite WR, Holmes is young, the Steelers don't have anything that compares to the Pats or Colts offensive weapons. I am not making a homer comment I am making a comment based on watching every minute of every Steeler game, So why don't you fucking get real internet muscles... I thought this was for opinions, and I gave mine.

Buddy, calm down. They are just having a little fun with you. I think that 50% of a great QB is brains, picking the right reads and making the right decisions. Most of the QB's at this level in the NFL can all throw a football. It is what is on top of their shoulders where the difference is.

I have no doubt in my mind that if any of these top 5 played for Miami, they would not be 0'fer this year. The QB makes a world of difference in this team sport. They clearly control the outcome more than any other one player on the team by a wide margin.

Ok, Tommy Toughnuts, you basically made the statement that the Steelers wouldn't be 7-2 if Brady or Manning were at QB, and to that, I say the same thing:

                              LAY OFF THE HOMERADE
