New Orleans Hornets -1 @ NJ Nets(8am at bookmaker)
Vince Carter is unlikely to play with a sprained ankle...worst case he does but not 100%...I'm pretty sure he'll sit out (listed as doubtful) the last game of the homestand before they go on the road, it's too early in the year to risk extending a sprained ankle on old man Carter.
Big look ahead for New Jersey as they travel to Boston Wednesday for a rematch, another reason they'll want to get Carter back to health and may not have their heads completely in this one.
New Orleans got back on the winning track yesterday and it's only a short trip from Philly to NJ so not too much traveling to worry about.
As for the back to back concern, the starters rested most of the 2nd half yesterday, 4 starters played under 30 minutes and the bench saw good time on the floor so I expect a complete performance from the young Hornets. David West and Chandler will be a little too much for Kristic and Collins and without Carter the scoring in the 4th quarter favors N.O. in my opinion.
Gonna play the Hornets for a good amount at -1 nice and early before the Carter decision becomes official and the line moves higher. GL GUYS
I'll post the rest of my hoops later, just wanted to get this one out early
