The Vikings will pay Troy Williamson his game check this week.

This is a reversal from the team's original stance. "In the end, we wanted to get this thing right," Brad Childress said. "It’s more important to get it right than to be right." The Vikings had threatened to withhold Williamson's check because he missed last Sunday's game while attending his grandmother's funeral. It's still uncertain whether he'll be active in Week 10.

too little too late......I would still be pissed that it took national attention to get them to do this.....ridiculous.....Childress should be slapped for not going to bat for him too.....How can he expect guys to want to run through walls for him when he will not go upstairs and twist managements arm
