This is one of those things that is bothering me....I want to know how to manually figure it out damnit....how do I convert 1.45 to win 1.25 so that its to only to win 1 unit not 1.25...guess I will just never know...
Now that i am actually paying attention, what do you wanna knowQuestions, comments, complaints:

I wanted to MANUALLY convert to -1.0...
Now I know that if I put 1.9 to win 1 on the -190 and 1 to win 1.4 on the +140 that would have done it but big weiner and I couldnt (and still cant) figure out what the -1.0 juice would then become
This is as far a my grade 2 math took me:
190 to win 100
100 to win 140
290 to win 240
divide by 2 is:
145 to win 125 but dont want to win 1.25 units just 1 unit..
So its not -145 for -1.0 WTF is it then....SOBER SINCE MARCH 28TH OF 2007!!!

Alright Chado...just because you won me $300 a couple nights ago, I feel like I owe this to you...
You set up a cross multiplication equation. I'm gonna assume that you want each bet to win .5 units. For the -190 situation, the equation has on the left side (1.9/1)=(x/.5) that results in .95 being the amount you need to be to win .5 units.
For the +140, it looks like (1/1.4) = (x/.5) that results in .36 needed to be bet to win .5 units.
I think that's the situation you want...let me know if I misconstrued what you wanted.

And then 0.36 on the +140 to win 0.5
Then to figure out the juice of the manually converted -1.0 goals you add the 0.95 and 0.36 which then becomes -121 for -1.0 right?SOBER SINCE MARCH 28TH OF 2007!!!

Oh...I see...well now I started to out think myself...but came back to the initial result, which is 145/125 = 1.16 = which means the -1 line would've been around -116.
I came about it 2 ways -
1st - More or less the -190 has a 65% chance of happening (bet 65, win 35), and the +140 has a 41.5% chance of happening (bet 41.5, win 58.5)...average them out, and you get a 53.25% chance of happening which is around -116....
2nd (same as the initial response) just divide 145 and 125...
When it comes to guessing what a book would charge as juice, I think that differs based on the amount of action they're getting. I could be wrong there - never ran a book.
