  • Does Anyone Agree that McNabb is incredibly overrated?

I entered the Sunday night game last night up 9 units for the day and counting on the Eagles. And let me just say this, I havent picked an Eagles game right all year. And the trend continued last night. But Donovan McNabb should lose his starting job in my opinion. He throws more 3 yard passes into traffic needing ten yards than any other QB in the league. He is afraid to run and afraid to throw downfield. Chad Pennington syndrome. And we see what happened to him.

Will trade you Joey Harrington for him today.I said 2 months ago when Vick got suspended and we traded Schaub that I hope Eli or Mcnabb has a shitty year so we could trade for them.Looks like we have a shot at Mcnabb. No one coming out of college is going to turn the falcons around but maybe get a few good years out of Mcnabb and let him train someone(Woodson,Dixon,Tebow,Ainge,Longshore) to be the starter.

I bet McNabb goes to Minnesota. He definitely needs a change of scenery.

McNabb is not overrated, he prefers to pass instead of run. If he chose to run a little more, he would be even better than he is. He also has not one good wide receiver. The announcers kept saying last night how pathetic it was that every play was to Westbrook. If guys can't catch, it makes the QB look VERY VERY BAD.

It is not all the wide outs, but a lot has to do with the fact that his RB is the best receiver he has.

Ill trade you Cleo Lemon and my sister for McNabb if he can go to Miami.

Maybe all it is is a change of scenery, but honestly if I am a Falcon backer or even a Viking backer, I dont want him. When he was throwing to T.O. he was fine. But now that he is gone, he leaves a lot to be desired and I dont think is much of an improvement over Harrington at all. I guess he is better than Jackson, but not enough to give up any talent, other than Jackson, to get him.

I agree with you there, he doesnt have any receivers. And I guess that could and does affect his decision making. But he makes some real questionable throws. And, that defense isnt horrible. Offensive line is healthier now and they have one of the best all purpose players in the league. You shouldnt be getting blown out by Dallas at home. A Dallas team that won 1of the last 8 played in that city. Coaches and McNabb. Thats who I am blaming.

Im glad somebody agrees with me spreadman. I didnt dare mention that theory on this forum because I dont know yet how it would be received, but I totally agree with you. His decision making is just so ridiculous. Add that to the fact that some of his throws to wide open receivers in the flat fall 3 or 4yards out of reach. Dont see how he could be doing that if not just on purpose for some reason.

The fact of the matter is the only good football the Eagles have played in the last three years was when Garcia was their starter the second half of last year.

After what happened to Rush Limbaugh, nobody in the media will ever comment on McNabb's shortcomings
