He is a helluva closer, but his celebrations seem so planned and cheesy out there..........

And then Buck/McCarver will be like "Papelbon is so focused before he pitches" and they show him in the 7th banging 2 water bottles against the top of the bullpen to some music.....hilarious.

They are very cheesy and he does look like a morning doing dances and irish dances in his underwear. That's what everyone loves about him. It's friggin' hilarious to see how foolish he gets. The fact that they can play with water bottles and stuff in the pen shows just how loose and relaxed they are. If it affected what he did on the mound or his overall concentration, i think people would be bothered but it but it clearly doesn't. He steps on the rubber and turns into a robot.

I think they mean he is focused when he enters the game and becomes a different player.....they always say how goofy he is....
