I'm coming off a 2-1 CFB weekend but went 0-1 in the NFL.
1* Ball State +
I'm going to play this game but will wait to bet it in hopes the line goes up to at least +7. Ball is having a really good year and has a great offense. Ball played very well at Illinois last week and only lost by 11. Now they get another Big 10 school, but one a lot weaker than Illinois. This is an in-state matchup and a chance for Ball to show the whole state how good they are. Indiana has lost three in a row and is wearing down.
1* Alabama +7
LSU has played three so-so games in a row, losing one and barely escaping with wins in the other two. perceptions are hard to shake and that's why this line is bad. The fact is Alabama is playing just as well as LSU. The Tide is at home and not only is Saban facing his former team, he's a lot better coach than Les Miles.
1* Central Florida -14
Central Florida can still win its division of Conf USA and is coming off a big win on the road over Southern Miss. Marshall won its first game of the year last week and is very vulnerable on the road. Here's the key: Cent Florida has a great running game and Marshall is giving up 204 yards a game on the ground! This could be a 30 point win.
1* San Diego State +4 1/2
I'm a little shaky going with a team whose state of mind is uncertain after last week's postponement. But SD State is finally getting its act together. They almost beat New Mexico on the road in their last game and beat Colorado State in their last home game. Wyoming struggled at home to just get by UNLV. Take the points.
1* California -14 1/2
Even with QB Longshore banged up, Cal has a big edge. If this game were played three weeks ago the line would be closer to -28. Cal's three losses were all close games. Wash State is coming off a home upset over UCLA and is likely to let down. Cal needs a big win and will pour it on.
