Plays will be rated 1-4*
I have no plays on tonight's games but three futures bets.
1* Bucks OVER 36 1/2 wins
Milwaukee was more beaten up by injuries last year than any team except the Hornets. They went something like 5-20 in the 25 games Michael Redd missed. Villanueva missed 30+ games and Bobby Simmons was out for the year. All are back and first round draft choice Yi Jianlian may be the steal of the draft. This is at least a .500 team.
1* Bulls OVER 48 1/2 wins
1* Bulls To Win Eastern Conference +500
If Kobe Bryant goes to the Bulls, these bets are steals. I think it's better than 50-50 Kobe will end up in Chicago and even if three or four players are traded for him, he will still have a strong supporting cast. If Kobe doesn't come, it's still a decent bet as the Bulls are a good young team with an excellent coach in Skiles. The Bulls at present have a lot of good young players, but no superstar. If Kobe comes to the Bulls, though, they will win over 57 games and be a heavy favorite to win the conference.
Opinion only:
Mavs UNDER 56 1/2 wins
(There could be a bad hangover after last year's playoff nightmare.)
