As much as we bitch sometimes about Francona, in retrospect I think he is heads and shoulders over Little.

well.....you can not argue with success....but little's one bad move prevented him from possibly his 1st world series....

i think francona is what the red sox ordered....a yes man......in fact his pay reflects that....he deserves a lot more....

i think a good manager is worth about 10 victories a year....

most of them are smart enough to play the %'s.....and different teams require different personalities.....

same with Mcnamara...bonehead moves cost him too.....
