Anyone like any? I was thinking of the following:

New Jersey Over 43 wins.... last year they were devastated by injury. I can see them being a little better than .500 on the year.

Boston Over 50 wins. 50 should be attainable with the weak east. Their only real competition comes from Detroit and Chicago. Other than that they should be able to win 50 games easily unless two of the big 3 go down.

Portland Under 31 wins. Do not see them with much hope this season. They have no go-to-guy with Randolph out now.

Only 3 I saw I liked so far... any other ideas?

Boston one scares me, but they should be around 50 wins, if they gel quick enough. New Jersey looks about 45. Here's a couple I like.

Cleveland Cavs under 48.5, I don't think they're as good as last year

LA Lakers under 42, they won 42 last year, and they're worse this year

Orlando Magic under 46.5, come on, they'll be better for sure, but 47 wins, no way

Sacramento Kings under 34, they won 33 last year, and with Bibby out they'll be cold early on

I like unders, because if injuries or trades (Kobe) occur, your bet becomes easy

Warriors should be over 41.5 wins, Memphis should be over 33.5 wins, Jazz should be over 48.5 wins

If LeBron is injured for any time at all, there is no way Cleveland comes close to 48 wins.

Teams that will be much improved:

            Bucks
            Celtics
            Magic
            Nuggets

            Teams that will regress:

            T-Wolves
            Cavs
            Pacers
            Sixers

The Bucks and Nuggets were both wracked by uinjuries last year and should be a lot better.

My wildcard is Dallas, which might be a lot worse after last year's playoffs collapse.

If I knew which team Kobe would end up with, I'd pick them to go OVER because he'll improve any team and will be on a Randy Moss-like mission

To corroborate my Portland under selection:

"Brandon Roy is facing intense scrutiny regarding the heel injury which has plagued him for about a year.
The Oregonian reports, "He says he feels the sharp pain in his heel every now and again, when he drives forcefully to the basket or makes an awkward or hard cut, and seems prepared to undergo the inevitable after the season: a surgery he and the Blazers have been hoping to avoid." This doesn't sound good for Roy's prospects this year, as he could easily end up missing time to rest the heel, or possibly even be forced to undergo surgery."

If anyone wants OVER for Celtics, it is only 48 at Bookmaker.

You think the Cavs win 49 games CTT?

Yeah, I actually see them winning about 52 games. I'm not sure if I would put money on it because that all hinges on LeBron's health, but all of their contributers with the exception of ZI are still fairly young guys and they've got nowhere to go but up offensively if they can stay one of the top 5 defenses in the league. There's no reason why LeBron shouldn't go back to being a 75% FT shooter and I see improvements in Gibson (21) and Gooden (who's still only 26). I think they'll get Varejao back at some point, but even if they don't I'll still take the defending conference champs with the best young player in the game to win more than 48 games. Just one man's opinion, though.

With that said, my favorites are still Blazers under, Heat under, and Bulls over. It would take an all-star year from Aldridge or Roy to get the Blazers back to 32 wins this year.

I definately like the Heat Under. Went with them over last year and got burned by Wade and Oneil being out for so long. Shaq is not the same force he once was and I do not think Ricky Davis is the answer. He is part of it, but they need a big man who is not 40 and can play 30+ minutes a game.

Blazers under looks nice. With Bibby out for awhile that Kings under looks tasty as well.

                        Thanks guys appreciate the input.
