My weekend got off to a losing start as New Mex won, but failed to cover, Thursday night. The following plays were posted earlier at the lines listed below.
1* East Carolina -14 1/2
EC's offense can't be stopped and UAB was lit up for 49 points last week at home to Houston. EC beat that same Houston team and had three conference wins in a row before losing last week to a non-conf opponent. EC is the much better team and is motivated to win as this its second to last home game of the year.
1* Texas A & M +3
This is the week Kansas goes down. It's their second straight road game and they face an A & M team that is always tough at home and is already 5-0 at home this year. A & M crushed Nebraska on the road last week.
1* NC State +3 1/2
O'Brien must feel like an idiot for quitting BC as they race to a BCS bowl but he's finally straightening NC State out. They return home after two road games in a row including a win at above-mentioned East Carolina. Virginia may be 7-1 but keeps snaking out close victories---it's last four three wins are by a combined four points!---and have only one double digit win all year. Groh's record on the road at Virginia is very poor. They are the most vulnerable 7-1 team you'll ever find.
