What now? The same as before. Although it looks like I'm throwing money away tonight, nothing is a lock the other way. A split in Boston wins money.
The risk of continuing to play the dog every World Series game, is not as bad as you would think. Even after a terrible LCS, we still have a small cushion of 8 units. I look for Colorado to be the dog or at best a PK every game. Worst case would be the Rockies getting swept 4-0 for a loss of 20 units. The playoffs would then end with the dogs losing 12 units, not a total disaster considering the number of 5 unit plays we made, but still a loss.
Now, what if Colorado wins just one game. Lose 20 units, win at least 5 units depending on the line. Playing all dogs would still be a loss, but now less than 7 units. Anything better for the Rockies, even losing the series 4-2 and we end up making money when all is said and done.
PLAY COLORADO TONIGHT +200.
Although it's still early, covers shows the number of plays so far are pretty equal for each team tonight. 53% played Boston, 47% played the Rockies.
