And let's look at what you said was a good move putting Brady back in...he puts him in becasue the back-up THREW an interception with 11 mins left on 2nd and 8 up by 4 TD's! Instead if hating on haters, stop drinking the homerade...my opinion is of an unbiased observer who watched most of the game.
1st off, people post here often that they hate them. Second, that is their offense this year. Maroney is far from 100% and Morris was out this week. They have no running game and they pass the ball to move the flag and have all year. Being outscored by a 21-7 score in the 2nd half says everything about running up the score and especially that they did anything but. You don't think they could have put up 35 more in the 2nd half if they wanted to "Run up the score"? Give me a break .........

Bottom line is that the Pats are good and should make no apologies.....This is pro sports......If you want the beating to stop......then stop it.....But they could have scored 80

Faulk ran the ball 6 times this week and ran it 12 last week. The only thing the second half score proves is that the defense rested and went prevent. Because he only scored once, doesn't mean it wasn't trying.

Again, to put the starter in a 3 TD game and to throw the ball deep and to throw it more than you run it, would indicate you are runnin' it up. I am also a Wes Welker owner so I was very pleased to see BB throwin' it to him late!

3J, I don't care if Brady played EVERY down and threw a hail mary on every play in the 2nd half. To Run up the score, you have to outscore the opponent and N.E. scored 7 points in the whole 2nd half and gave up 21 = -14. Never in my life have i seen a team outscored by a 21-7 score in a 2nd half accused of running up the score ... EVER. It doesn't even make sense when you think about it. Holy fuck, i can't believe i'm even arguing this point. You get outscored by 14 and you are running up the score. Please tell me this is all a fucken joke. It is, Right?

First of all, I don't think there is anything wrong with running it up. If you can and your team is that good, God bless you. Like Tony said, it is up to the defense to stop you. So, while I think Belichick was more aggressive with his play calling than he needed to be, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Secondly, what does 'running it up' have ANYTHING to do with defense? I think you know more about football than to equate runnng it up with getting outscored and how your defense performs. If you don't think they ran it up, fine...but come with a better argument that the defense gave up 3 TD's so that means they didn't...YOU have to be joking, right? Lastly, just because they only scored 7 points does not mean that they didn't attempt to. Remember, your team did give up a TD on an interception return up 4 TD's. You can TRY to run it up and not be successful. They only had three possession before putting in the 3rd string QB...and the play calling on those three possession was more aggressive than what you would normally see in a game that was a blowout. Agian, I have no issue with what Belichick did, but to an unbiased observer, he seemd to take more chances than the normal team would with a 3 - 5 TD lead.

3J, You can word it any way you want but the definition of a team "Running up the Score" means that one team kept piling on points against their opponent. Everybody knows that and simply put, they scored 7 friggin' points in the whole 2nd half and were outscored. How the hell can you "Run up the score" with 7 2nd half points??? WTF

I guess the Pats should have not scored and let the Fins score 30 in the 2nd half before they put Brady back in.....

No shit. The last thing Bill wanted was N.E. having the taste in their mouth of being outscored 21 or 28 to nothing. You don't want to leave that place feeling that way and he was pissed off at how they were playing. WTF is wrong with people. They score 7 2nd half points and they were piling on. What a joke.

i'd rather see a team keep playing instead of watching teams run the ball into the ground with a 10 pt lead in the 3rd quarter.

7 down, 9 to go. no one is beating this team. cameragate my ass!

I don't think the Patriots did anything wrong here. You can't call the dogs off after the half.
