I had a perfect Saturday as my college picks finally start catching up to my strong pro season. I went 4-0, including an easy win on my 2* play on Troy. (I even hit my lone opinion play of the day.) I was 1-1 last weekend in the NFL, including my first pro loss of the year when I unwisely got in front of the New England juggernaut. I don't like today's NFL card and have only one play (although I'm likely to have a play Monday night).

1* Raiders -2 1/2
Oakland isn't very good but Kansas City is one of the lousier 3-3 teams I've seen. The Raiders played two pretty good games before catching a hot Chargers team last week on the road. KC's win last week over Cincy is misleading because the Bengals were imploding. I look for a strong Raiders showing in their first home game since Sep. 23.

I'll be there and do agree they should play well but this is a tough one to bet...but I can say despite what the national fans see, the Bay Area fans can see this team plays much better with Daunte at QB...GL GRIS

Gris. You need a new ad agency. I didn't realize your NFL plays are 14-1. I happen to agree with you on the Raiders, but even if I didn't, I'm not going to skip a play from someone 14-1. The only problem is it seems I was in pre-school, the last time the Raiders beat a Division opponet. So, why are they favored. Because Vegas agrees with you.

Which book do you use? I like Jacksonville gettin 3 but gettin 3' I would have to think about backing the Colts....I hate it when books move the number off 3, its a sign of fear IMO where they are attempting to bait action. I was actually hoping this number would not go to 3'....if anything I was hoping for a 2' line if that makes sense
