CFL posted picks have went 4-1 the last 5 bets. There are only 3 games left for the 8 teams until the playoffs start so definately looking forward to that. Crunch time in the CFL now so time to continue the great season as teams fight for seeding and their playoff berths.
Here's how the standings look with only 3 weeks of games remaining in the regular season:
EASTERN Team GP W L T PTS
Winnipeg 15 8 6 1 17
Toronto 15 8 7 0 16
Montreal 15 7 8 0 14
Hamilton 15 2 13 0 4
WESTERN Team GP W L T PTS
B.C. 15 11 3 1 23
Saskatchewan 15 10 5 0 20
Calgary 15 7 7 1 15
Edmonton 15 5 9 1 11
How the CFL playoffs work is like this:
There are 8 teams in the whole league. 6 of the 8 teams make the playoffs. The winner of both the Eastern and Western division gets a first round playoff bye directly to play in the division finals game. So as an example if the playoffs started today, Winnipeg would get a first round bye to the Eastern final and B.C. would get a first round by directly to the Wetsern final. The Eastern semi-final would be Monteal @ Toronto and the Western semi-final would be Calgary @ Saskacthewan. The winner of the East semi would play Winnipeg and the winner of the West semi would play B.C. The winners of both division final games would play each other in the "Grey Cup" or Championship game. Just thought I would explain this to everyone so now you guys know how it works for CFL playoffs.
There is one game on the Canadian football field for this evening and I like this selection:
442 Winnipeg Blue Bombers -4.0 (-110) (2 units
) STARTS @ 8:00 PM EST
Bombers lost last week in Calgary and have now lost 2 straight games. Revenge game for them after last weeks return of Stamps QB Henry Burris. Winnipeg is a much better team than they have shown the last 2 weeks and they need to get a big win tonight to give them some more beathing room over the creeping Toronto Argonauts. If the Bombers want to win the Eastern division and get a first round bye they need to get a win tonight @ home and I think they will by at least a TD!!!
PS - Will post NHL selections(s) in a few.....
AS ALWAYS, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
