Yes. Knock him over to get the ball loose in a clean hard play.
OR
slide and try to avoid the tag and touch the plate with your finger.
do something to force the action or just not care since there is always next year?
Someone else said it reminded him of slowpitch softball where the player simply didn't want to slide to avoid possible injury to the catcher.Comment
