Have you ever been watching a game with more than a passing interest, and a situation arises where you know that whatever becomes of it is the end-all of your fate?

Bases juiced, 1st inning, no less, and 3-1 count to weak-hitting JD Drew, I sensed that an out kept CLE alive, anything else was the end. It kind of does a disservice to break it down to one pitch, but that is the way it is, was, and will be. Sure enough, a GS follows. And at that time, I felt CLE could just get on the plane, and congratulate themselves on a great run, a year ahead of schedule.

And as great as the MLB postseason is, it so often boils down to one pitch, or play, and this one was done in inning one.
