NFL TOTAL CONCEPT
Ever wonder how the Linemaker comes up with his Over/
Under lines? Try this: Take the average points scored of team
A, add the average points allowed of team B, divide that total
by 2 and get the estimated point total of team A. Reverse the
procedure to get team B's estimated points scored. Add the
two totals together, factor in QB injuries to come up with a
final number and you have an OU line.
Example: Baltimore scores 18 ppg and Buffalo allows 24 (21).
Buffalo scores 13 and Baltimore allows 17 (15). 21+15 =36.
Deduct one point for no McNair. Is the posted total 35? Yep!
