The bats will have to come to life to have any chance.
An even better bet is that if Sox lose tomorrow, they will not win this series, and it is questionable if they will even be able to get series back to Boston.
Cleveland and Colorado are both on major rolls at the moment(Colorado is on an UNREAL roll), and if they meet in WS, it should be one heck of a series(of course if Sox come back and win the series, Sox vs Rockies should also be a great series).

At least if Wakefield gets hit early then Gagne will be rested and ready to go for some batting practice, errrr, midle relief.

Maybe Francona should experiment once again and START Gagne tomorrow to see if he can do better in this capacity.

Good luck, Soup. Byrd scares the hell out of me as much as Wakefield does.

they need to consult Lou Pinella for the pitching rotation......he's a genius with knowing who to start, and when to pull em, and when to save em....

                        gl to ya tonight

Tonight's a goofy game. We have a knuckleballer going against a guy who uses the old windmill delivery.

It's like 1969 with Phil Niekro going against Juan Marichal.

Except Wakefield is no Niekro and Byrd is no Marichal.

GL on the play; I lean to Cleve myself because of their great record at home (55-29).
