  • MLB Monday

    YTD 33-36 +1.81 units
    2* 0-2 -4.96 units
    1* 33-34 +6.77 units

    Playoffs 3-1 +3.16 units
    Faves 5-2 +0.04 units
    Dogs 27-29 +6.17 units
    Totals 1-5 -4.4 units

I finally lost an NFL game yesterday, going 1-1 as I insanely bet against the Patriots juggernaut. Perhaps I'm upset with Massachusetts, given the following play.......

    1* Indians +112
I really think Cleveland ought to be favored here with its amazing 54-29 record at home. The pitching matchup is even as both starters have struggled the last few starts. Boston has a minor bullpen edge unless Francona idiotically uses Eric Gagne again. Given how weak the starters are, there's a good chance of that. The value is with Cleveland

    Opinion only:
OVER in the above game (I'd make this a full play except for, as the record above shows, I can't hit a baseball total this year to save my life)

    Still pending:
1* Indians To Win World Series +285
1* Red Sox To Win AL Pennant +230

    NFL:

    Opinion only:
Falcons (if the line goes any higher, I may upgrade it to a play)

and put some on a reverse line - 1 1/2 runs pays big time

Some books you can play an alternate line. I know bookmaker does it. you can take the dog and play the run line there.

              hope that helps...

I didn't know that. I've only seen lines where the dog gets 1 1/2 runs, not lays them
