Gagne has been brutal all season. I went to spring training in AZ earlier this spring. Gagne got shelled for 6 runs in less than one inning of work against the Padres.

He ain't major league material any more. Two many arm surgeries.

Absolutely! Back int he 60's Dick Radatz would relieve for three innings(prior to closer days) and then come back the next day if needed and pitch some more;with a day off tomorrow, Francona could have easily gone one more inning with Papelbon.

The way Beckett has been throwing he is the X factor. You can almost mark up a win when he goes out on the mound right now. Think this one goes 7.
