ESPN & Thursday stat for Cal backers!

Utah is 0-6 all-time in ESPN-televised games and 0-2 in Thursday ESPN telecasts. You know who I'm on.

That is a trend that I cannot follow, not saying I am on either side, but to say the Utes are 0-6 when playing on ESPN just isnt enough for making a wager.

I totally agree with you Wallstreet. I would never just consider making a wager soly on a stat like that. I have read some interesting info at a few other sites which have definitly got me on Cal tonight. In breif the Utes are banged up, and Cal has already gone against tougher defensive foes and played better than expected. The Cal program has really made great progress since two years ago even after lossing key players. The Utah program has some discipline issues to adress in addition to handling there walking wounded.

Don't sell Urban Meyer short. There's a lot of parallels with the current Cal program. Anybody think altitiude might factor into this game late in third quarter?

That shows that UTAH sucks under the pressure of espn games, like great NFL teams choke under the pressure of monday night football

okay, let's think about this. utah is 0-6 in ESPN thursday games which probably spans over the last 10 years. you've got a new coach who hasn't been a part of those 6 losses and suffice to say most of those players haven't been a part of those 6 losses. don't get me wrong, stats/matchups are important in handicapping, but handicapping with that ridiculous rationale will have your banktroll down to nil real fast. futhermore, anyone check out who those 6 losses were to?
