It is a called a sport where i grew up too....however, i personally do not see the sport in luring an animal in for an easy kill....I think it should be called a hobby.....there is nothing sportsmanlike about it...especially when it is not a quick kill.....

If there is no other means to provide for your family then my hat is off to you....

But if it is a hobby that someone derives pleasure from.....i just do not get it.....

but then again some people do not get boxing....except each boxer has a chance.....the deer has none and there is no risk to the hunter.....

No....not an animal activist at all....but an animal lover. I do not mind hunting to thin the herds at all. I actually was a bird hunter growing up....just hated when i shot something......

I just hate to see any animal or person suffer......suppose i have turned soft as i am aging

I just am making a point that in my definition of a sport.....there is a chance for both combatants.....a hunter risks nothing except getting shot by another hunter or the camour rouge in Wisconsin.....

I would not call it arguing.....I did not know what the corn was for......then when told i said i do not like to shoot deer.....and then just said if it is to feed family then cool......and if not i just disagree with it.....and i thought sport was when both sides had a chance......Many of my friends hunt....i just don't get it.....Not arguing.....
