CFB YTD 11-16 -4.8 units
2* 4-2 +3.6 units
1* 7-14 -8.4 units
NFL/CFB Combined 24-16 +12.2 units
3* 1-0 +3.0 units
2* 6-2 +7.6 units
1* 17-14 +1.6 units
I was 1-2 last weekend in CFB but had another sterling week in the pros, going 5-0. Talk about black and white: I'm 11-16 in college and 13-0 in the NFL. I'll try to improve the college while staying perfect in the pros.
1* Arkansas -2 1/2 (-115)
Auburn beat Florida two weeks ago and Vandy last week and has LSU next. They could letdown in a road game here. Arkansas, in the meantime, is cranked up after playing nothing but patsies---Chattanooga (who?) last week and North Texas the week before. McFadden needs a big game on TV to have a shot at the Heisman. Arkansas' QB is lousy but has a talent edge at most other positions.
1* Michigan State -4 1/2
Indiana is another team in danger of a letdown with Penn State and Wisconsin on deck and coming off two conference wins. Michigan State has a history of starting fast and falling apart and is doing the same thing this year, having lost two in a row after a big start. For that reason, I think they'll be highly motivated in this home game as the new coach is obsessed with erasing the history of fades down the stretch. Mich State has scored 106 points last three weeks and Indiana may not be able to stop them.
Opinion only:
Purdue/Michigan OVER 55 1/2
One NFL early post:
