My line is at - 4 1/2 and 53.....lets look at some thing here....
Both teams are pitiful with their passing game, and Pitts, believe it or not, is ranked #2 (right behind S Car) in NCAA in Pass Defense.....allowing 157 ypg, 4 td's with 4 int's.....Navy doesn't throw any way, so thats moot....
Navy allows 281 with 12 Td's and 6 INt's.....But Pittsburgh is also a bad passing team....
So lets look at overall defense...
Navy allows 41 pts and 453 ypg...
Pitt............21............266........
so lets look at rushing offense....
Navy 348 ypg
Pitt...127.....
Pitt has a better D, and they are at home, both have pathetic passing games, but NAVY is predominant in rushing yards, and they are gettin 4 1/2 points...........both have played about the same caliber teams, Navy is 3-2, and Pitt is 2-3.....Pitt is slumping right now, and have not played up to expectations at all.....
I see a running game here, no clock stoppage, the only drawback is the clock stops on a first down, and I feel there will be many of those (thus clock stoppage), and if passes are attempted, the ball will likely hit the ground (more clock stoppage)....Passing game completion rates....Navy 52 %, Pitt 59 %....so the over/under to me is just about right.....
I think it's gonna be a 28-24 type game either way.........IMO
